Hi there
Catching up with a former client and friend recently they said, “I get your email and would like to read it all, but sometimes it is really long.” Taking that feedback on board, here’s a quick format with just 8 lines to see how this lands and please let me know what you think – short or long form or a mix. Thank you.

Currently planning for the 41st Annual Conference of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) from May 5–7, 2025 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. I’m presenting a session on ‘Bridging the Workforce Gap: Lessons from Australia and the U.S. on Building a Resilient Future’, and hope to meet with colleagues from across the United States and abroad.
Reaching out to Josh Bersin, Virgel Hammonds, Brad Turner-Little, National Association of Workforce Boards, California Workforce Development Board, Maryland Governor’s Workforce Development Board, Regina Johnson, Stuart Nutting, Taliessin Reaburn, Laura Leventhal, Steven Marshall, Maria Flynn, to see if we can make times to meet and share the work you are doing, plus please suggest other people that I should connect with, thank you.
Last Thursday saw back to back meetings from chats about Adelaide Design Week in August 2025 with Andy Eden & Samantha Agostino, to Su who is serving clients so well in the care sector, to Julian Hudson following on from meeting you at the CORE Innovation Hub event on AI, energy and refrigeration, to the fantastic & famous Francis Wong, OAM OSJ discussing the Australia-ASEAN Business Forum being held in the City of Adelaide over 26-27.8.25. A day like this demonstrates the diversity, innovation & excitement in the work that we do – hope that is the same for you 🙂
Kind regards
Wendy Perry, Happy Valley, Adelaide, South Australia
PS. Philip Ransome a good bump into you & Cathi thanks for the reminder about writing the book 📕
